Social Distancing – Covid19
In line with the current government guidelines regarding Social Distancing, Ringwood Dogs has changed the way it normally works. Therefore strict Covid19 Policies and Procedures are now in place – including a doorstep drop off and collection procedure so that social distancing can be adhered to, disinfecting the home regularly with a pet safe disinfectant, frequent washing of hands and sterilisation of all equipment.
Specialist Doodle/Poo Dog Boarding with Ringwood Dogs (Boarding for your Poodle Cross)

We all know how special our Doodles and Poodle mixes are. As the name suggests, we specialise in Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Spoodles, Cockapoos, Cavapoos, Schnoodles, Shihpoos or Maltipoos and they all need an experienced home. Ringwood Dogs offers the Cambridge or Oxford University equivalent of dog boarding at my home instead of putting your dog into a kennel for the duration of your holiday. Having owned and trained many a Doodle over the years, you can be sure you will be placing your Doodle with someone who is experienced with the breed.
The benefits of home boarding are being able to tailor make your dog’s holiday with us. This means I am able to follow the routines you already have in place and incorporate training, exercise and enrichment into their daily routine. We live in a large house backing onto the Castleman Trail which gives a safe, convenient exercise route without having to drive your dogs to another exercise area. Your dogs will be staying in a family environment with my two friendly, well socialised Doodles and teenage daughters. This means that your dogs will become part of our Doodle Family.
Can my Doodle join the Doodle Boarding Club
There are a few rules to become part of this exclusive Doodle Boarding Club:
- Dogs must to be fully vaccinated and up to date with worming and flea treatments.
- Dogs need to be fully insured and microchipped.
- Dogs must be well socialised and enjoy the company of other dogs and humans.
- Dogs must be obedient, non-destructive and not suffer from separation anxiety.
- Dogs must be fully house trained (allowances are made for puppies under 6 months of age)
- All doodles need to attend a trial day before joining us for boarding.
- We cannot accept un-neutered dogs under 9 mths old or bitches in season.
- We cannot accept dogs who show aggression towards other dogs or people.
Puppies (Under 9 Months of Age)
Puppies are very welcome here for their Doodle holiday once they have had their last vaccinations and are ready to mix with other dogs under the advice and guidance of their veterinarian. Puppies benefit hugely from the routine, socialisation, and doggie manners learnt from the more experienced and well trained Doodles in the boarding environment. However, fees for boarding puppies under 9 months of age are £35 per day/night due to the extra time, care and training involved with integrating a puppy into the Doodle gang. Once a doodle puppy reaches 9 months old, they are moved onto the adult fee structure.
