A lovely game of “seek it” in the garden with the daycare dogs. Sometimes after a walk, your dog may come back overly excited and hyper, especially if you’ve played an intense game of ball during your walk. I often calm things down after a walk by sprinkling some tasty food across the garden.
For this game I chose tuna and sprinkled it all over the garden into every corner – tuna or another moist smelly food is a great choice for a scent game because even after your dog has eaten it, the scent remains on the grass and they return to the same spot to seek it out again, therefore lengthening the time of the game.
This game calms all the dogs down as they busy themselves sniffing and allows me to prepare their lunch. Happy Sniffing!
