As Christmas approaches, please be aware of the many poisonous and harmful foods to dogs.
Make sure food is locked away safely and not left out on surfaces and tables for your dog to eat during the festivities. The last thing you want over the Christmas break is a trip to the vet!
Some food that can be can be poisonous or harmful to dogs are:
- grapes and raisins
- mince pies
- cooked bones and fatty food
- onions and garlic
- Christmas cake and Christmas pudding
- peanuts and macadamia nuts
- peach and nectarine stones
